Plus we regularly make improvements to our training and treatment plans.

Five Years of Fitness and Physical Therapy Growth and Evolution (10/22/20)

I remember…

sitting at Elixr coffee shop every day in between clients, with my pen and paper building out my business plan. I pull it out every now and then to see how we have evolved, and what has actually gone according to plan – let’s just say I have enjoyed the journey! At the same time I have surprised myself at what elevate Health & Performance has become, and optimistic of the infinite opportunities that lie ahead.

Things I could not fathom in my business plan were all of the laughs, cries, smiles, meals shared, life born, loved ones lost, hands held, hugs given, health created, recipes shared, stories told, lifestyles changed, frustrations released, lessons learned, ambition stimulated, support given, new obsessions formed, networks being built, and conversations with learning viewpoints between you and the elevate Team.

The greatest accomplishment we have experienced is strangers becoming our friends, us becoming your trusting partner, and continuing the relationship to be each other’s advocate.

And we just happen to challenge and encourage you through physical exercise and physical therapy.

October 15th marked our 5th year Anniversary! We would not have been able to make it this far, and continue the journey without you. Thanks for your support, and we look forward to always being there for you.

Thanks for making it happen!

Improve Your Posture and Improve Your Health (10/09/20)

Your posture impacts much more than how you stand. It affects how you move and your range of motion. Posture also impacts your ability to balance, how effectively you breathe, and even how your jaws move.

Even small postural adjustments can impact how you feel.

Justin DePermentier, our lead Physical Therapist, studies with The Postural Restoration Institute (PRI). For over twenty years, PRI has been developing specialized exercise programs to resolve many painful conditions. They combine controlled movement with focused breathing to correct postural problems.

Using PRI therapy techniques with Justin can help reduce back, shoulder, and hip pain. You may also find yourself walking, moving, and breathing more comfortably.

Posture Restoration is just one of many our many Fitness and Physical Therapy tools to help improve your life and health.

Please contact us to ask Justin any questions or to schedule.

Natali Ruzich Has Become a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant  (9/22/20)

We encourage our team to pursue professional education and degrees. Both training and physical therapy are evolving fields. Keeping up to date helps us help you achieve your health goals. It makes us better health partners.

So, we are very excited to share that Natali Ruzich has completed her Physical Therapy Assistant degree at Harcum College. And she passed the PA licensing examination. She completed her Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology at Temple University where she competed in gymnastics.

Natali already incorporates techniques from both disciplines into her clients’ strength and conditioning programs. And she’ll be working more closely with Justin DePermentier our lead Doctor of Physical Therapy.

Natali’s background makes her an excellent personal training generalist. And she also excels at helping people who need to work on flexibility and pain relief.

Like the rest of the team, she is always ready for a consultation. Just contact us to meet and assess how we can work together and improve your health. Learn more about Natali and Our Team Here.

In-person Personal Training resumes on Monday July 20th at elevate your Fitness and Physical Therapy “home for health.” Many things will be the same, and for your health and safety we’re making some adjustments: 1.Temperature check and quick Covid-19 questions when you arrive. Unless you have a 100.4 + temperature or exposure to Covid in the past two weeks, you’re good to train. 2. Only 3 clients will be trained at a time with staggered start times and designated areas to ensure social distancing. And we’ll be using both studios. 3. We’re disinfecting all weight and equipment after each session. 4. The team will be wearing masks. 5. We’re limiting our grab and go food to fresh fruit.
